Winning a $30M plan for solar batteries and grid resilience in New Orleans.
Together New Orleans helped advance the Neighborhood Power Plan, a citywide energy resilience program designed to install backup batteries tied to solar panels at homes and community institutions.

The New Orleans City Council unanimously approved the $30M Neighborhood Power Plan
This includes $28 million in upfront incentives for solar + battery systems and $2 million for program administration. Together New Orleans says the plan will support about 1,500 homes and 150–250 community institutions, creating the largest Virtual Power Plant in the Deep South.
