Organizing voters and voter turnout

Together Louisiana is building a statewide network of block captains to increase voter turnout.

BEING A BLOCK CAPTAIN MEANS:

#1) you care A LOT about voter participation

#2) you're willing to help organize between 30 to 50 voters in your immediate neighborhood to make sure they vote.

In addition to voter turnout, TLA is conducting voter education on Constitutional Amendment 5, which would cut funding for public schools & shift the tax burden from corporations to homeowners, renters and small businesses.

We'll get you your list of voters and the materials and training you need to be effective.

This is a purely grassroots effort and is not supporting any candidate or party.

I’d like to do something now to keep our voters engaged. Do you have suggestions?
