Louisiana is experiencing the fastest spread of COVID-19 in the world. The State's largest food bank in New Orleans will be out of food within the next few days. The state's other food banks are not far behind.

We're asking the USDA to approve a request from Governor Edwards and the Congressional Delegation to approve a Disaster Household Distribution Program, which will allow local food banks to access critical reserves of food that cannot be used without this declaration.
